One of the problems that may occur is having a dirty air filter. Dirty air filters causes your air conditioning unit to give off a weird smell. This happens when the air conditioner filter is not cleaned properly. It may collect dirt, stagnant water, dust mites and other harmful pollutants. It will result in a bad smell every time you turn on your air conditioning unit. The bad smell that comes out of your air vents may cause some health problems. It is a toxic liquid and the sweet smell it releases is very bad for your health. The sweet smell is the result of a leak in the cooling system. The leak can also come from the heater core pipe. When you start to notice this smell, you should avoid using your air conditioning unit frequently and have it checked right away. This way, you will avoid getting sick and will have a safer and more comfortable driving experience.
